Alien Path Guide
Upgrades to strengthen your current alien’s health, melee damage, energy, pod damage, arrow bonus and more can be purchased with in-game currency and resources. New aliens can be hatched by obtaining certain resources, and each come with their own passive abilities such as extra damage when three different coloured cards are equipped. Alien cards are what you equip to provide bonuses to your alien’s stats, give passive powers, and allow for special abilities to be activated such as dealing damage directly to an enemy robot or shuffling all tiles on the gameboard. Alien cards of differing rarity can be acquired by beating certain levels or purchasing them with premium currencies that are quite easily amassed. The puzzle game runs by a stamina system, therefore it will give people a little rest break in between to prevent over-gaming. Short burst of puzzle game time suits working adults as well since they might not have the long hours to play a mobile game. Overall the game was well-made for a wide range of target audience, mainly puzzles lover. Although the premium currencies can be bought using real world money, advertisements telling you to buy them are very rarely thrust in your face. Premium currencies can also be obtained for free after levels, by completing achievements/daily quests, or watching video adverts. Unfortunately when a game is free-to-play you’re very likely going to see adverts around the place. But when they become an easy way to gain rewards, I don’t see the harm in them.
An action puzzle game that brings fresh touch to the genre, Alien Path combines turn-based strategy, path-planning and a intense action for an out-of-this-world gaming experience. Players must eliminate enemies by cleverly navigating. Every move counts, so set path and pave your way to rescuing your planet and eventually the galaxy. Expect cute toons right at the beginning as they tell you the story of Alien Path. With the story of Robots conquering all the planets. You will need to liberate the robots as a cute alien. The whole game play is rather simple. Your objective? To destroy the robots with your alien. You will be playing on a grid field which is 7 by 7 squares wide. By swiping your alien up,down, left or right, they will move in the corresponding direction and strike out any robots that is in the way! Along the way as you play, you will notice certain helps and obstacles such as the directional grids where you can change the direction and have your alien use it to strike the robot with just a single move.To put it simply, you will have to use your brain a little to make sure your steps taken are maximized so you don’t waste any moves count. Robots does get their turn too after you made your move. And your alien is of course not invincible. It’s either you clear the robots out or they will kill your cute alien and dominate the planet.
The game plays on a grid, where you control your alien character and a few robots lined up at different spots. The board is plenty full but you have to note the two most important features, which are the arrows and the alien pods. You beat the robots by sliding your alien towards them dealing massive damage, using the arrows and changing its direction to guide you to the right place. If you slide by an alien pod, you can also release some projectiles to do a little extra damage. While the core gameplay looks simple enough, the whole game is deceptively deep. First off, the alien you control has a life bar and an energy bar where you need to keep an eye on. There are life pods and energy crystals littered on the grid as well, so you have to occasionally make some detours. You can bounce off the walls and change directions, which allows a long string of attacks and item collection. Then are plenty of opportunities for combos where you can improve your currency multiplier at the end of the level. After playing a while, you will be given the opportunity to build a deck with earned power cards some battlefield advantages. Your aliens can also be upgraded with plenty of stats to play around with.To top it off, there are so many levels to conquer and when you are done with one planet you can simply move on to the next one. That's not even the end of the features; if I have to talk about every single bit of content this article would never end, so I strongly suggest you find out the rest yourself.
